2G South Parade

We went pond dipping and bird watching. Megan caught a tadpole. Harry caught a greater water boatman. We caught blood worms, a leech, a water louse and lots of small water boatmen. We used binoculars to look for different birds. We saw blackbirds, magpies, robins, swifts, swallows, mallards and terns.

Year 2 visited the Fishing Heritage Centre on Tuesday 10th March 2009. They had a guided tour of the Ross Tiger. Everyone had a lovely time!

Mrs Lockwood visited Year 2 to talk about her holiday in China. The children found it very interesting.
